Converting Sound Systems To Wireless

For many of us we will start off with a less expensive sound system that we most likely first purchased when we first moved into our home. In most cases these require a number of wires and cords in order to connect to the television. The biggest problem with these sound systems is that the wires and cords often get in the way and create a huge mess.

When you are ready to upgrade your system you should think about converting it to wireless. Most systems can be converted with very little trouble. All you need are the right tools on hand.

You are going to start off by removing the wired speakers that are connected to the system. These are the two cables that are running from this speaker and that are plugged into the back of the system.

Now connect the wireless speaker receiver into the holes marked ‘speaker ports’. These are located on the back of the stereo receiver. The job of the receiver is to send out a signal to the wireless speakers so that they will function. Remember to plug the wireless receiver into the power outlet.

You can place the speakers around the room where you think they would work best. Most of these types of speakers will be able to work up to a couple hundred feet from the receiver.

Turn the stereo and wireless receiver on and test the sound quality. Adjust the settings as needed to get the best out of them. If you have any problems contact the manufacturer and try to troubleshoot with them.
